Lord,
Make me useful to your kingdom.
Whatever I do and however I do it,
let it be for your glory and not my own.
Let me be an example of your love in whatever I do.
Please God, break me.
Let people not see any beauty of the world in me,
but beauty that comes only from you!
Break me Lord, break me...
So that through you I can be whole!
(this is my prayer for the year 2008. My favorite sunglasses were my insperation for that!)
Winter Camps - 2008!!
Winter Camps - 2008!!
Winter Camps. Mixed emotions. Rising anticipation. Joyous outcome!
Those are the first words that come to my mind when I think about Winter Camps. The teams were, from the lowest level English to highest, A-J. Each team was named after a country and had that countries flag. I taught Team G (Germany) the first week by myself and then team D (Denmark) with Ede the next. We had so much fun. My kids were "the bomb" both weeks. I was so blessed to have them - God really knew that I needed kids like that!
The SOUP Place!!
Yep. This is the "ever-popular" soup place. My place of rest and get away. If you come and visit me, this is one of the first places I will take you! The soup is so good (especially on these cold, 50 degree's days), however it is nothing compared to the soup that I get back at home - right Dad? =)
did I miss something? I want to read the longest blog past ever!!!
ReplyDeleteWell, anyway, hi Camille! I love you and miss you. I am praying for you RIGHT NOW, that you will be satisfied today with the presence of the Lord and strengthened continually by His grace.
Love, Leith :)
Inspirational! To put it lightly. LOL, Have a good day Camille.
ReplyDeleteHello Camille!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a wonderful time during the Winter Camp.:-) Wish we could be there to see you work in action! It sounds like God is using you in so many ways.
Love & Prayers,
M&M Feeny
Ahh! Here we go. Beautiful soup, a messy room, and busted sun glasses, LOL. That is a very good prayer BTW, I know you don't like to share your trademarks but I might have to take that one up, LOL. j/k about the sharing. Your a very good role model and I can't wait for the next up date. D: Rob

I'm glad you have somewhere warm to go on all those horrible 50 degree days. The "cold" must be absolutely unbearable... =P
ReplyDeleteAmen! to your prayer. May it be your prayer not only for 2008, but for the rest of your life as well.
"Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the Lord!"
Psalm 27:14
In Christ,
-Timothy
p.s. sorry about your sunglasses...!
