and so another week begins...

Hello Week Two.

week one was fabulous.

the children came on monday morning. very happy and excited to be staying for the week.

the first class was great. we split the group of 32 kids into 2 groups.

liz+jo taught the higher level

i taught the lower level

i was quite scared, because my kids english went up to "Hi. My name is _____. Nice to meet you." the end of conversation.

and i had two kids with learning disabilities on my team.

talk about a challenging week!

but it was honestly amazing.

yes, i had to be very flexible with some of my lessons.

yes, the classroom got a bit wild at times.

but when it came to the end of the week, i had tears in my eyes when they left.

isn't it weird how often we only look at the small picture... yet when the bigger picture appears, we are left in awe of how short our time really is...

it's amazing. enough said.

so to you, week two....
